Privacy Policy

AI Analyzer ("the app") is operated by Oleh Yushchenko ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, how long we keep it, and what we don't do.

1. What we collect

• Content you submit for analysis. Text you paste, images you upload, screenshots you share. We treat this as the bare minimum input for the detection pipeline — it's the whole point of the app.
• A random per-device identifier. Generated locally on first launch. Used only for daily rate-limiting and to remember your Premium status. It is not tied to your name, email, advertising ID, or any social profile.
• Aggregate usage metrics. Anonymous counts of how many analyses ran, how many were text vs image, error rates. No content is stored alongside metrics.

2. What we don't collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or device IDs.
• We do not ship a third-party analytics SDK (no Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Firebase Analytics).
• We do not train any AI model on the content you submit.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone outside the providers listed below.

3. How content is processed

When you tap "Analyze", your content (text, image bytes, video, or audio) is sent to our Cloudflare Worker on ai-analyzer.ai. The Worker forwards it in parallel to one or more third-party detection providers:

• Sapling, GPTZero, Originality.ai — text detection
• AI or Not, Sightengine, Hive Moderation — image detection
• Hive Moderation, Reality Defender, Resemble Detect — video and audio detection (Premium)
• Anthropic — to generate a 2-3 sentence plain-English explanation of the result

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We chose providers that publicly commit to not retaining customer content past the duration of the API call.

4. Caching

We store the analysis result (not the original content) keyed by a SHA-256 hash of the input for up to 30 days. This is so identical re-uploads don't burn your daily quota or our provider budget. The original content is discarded immediately after the analysis returns. You can clear cached results from the History tab in the app.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see your payment details. RevenueCat handles entitlement verification — they receive your anonymous Apple/Google subscriber ID and a transaction receipt, nothing else.

6. Children

AI Analyzer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

You can delete all locally stored data (history, device ID) by tapping Settings → Clear History and then uninstalling the app. We will also delete any server-side cached results on request — email us with the device ID shown in Settings → About.

8. Changes

We'll update this policy as the product evolves. Substantive changes will be flagged in the app on next launch.
